John Russ and Company, Inc, was founded in the fall of 1979 by John and Geri Russ. Through the perseverance of this accomplished and determined couple, back breaking hard work, smart decisions, sacrifice and a little bit of luck, the Company overcame an extremely high barrier of entry to an industry that at times can be unforgiving to tackle some of the most challenging jobs at the time – the work no one else wanted. From a Sanitary Trunk Sewer job in Lemont, IL with Rock that was so hard, production was slowed to 1,13 foot piece of pipe per week, to major InterCity Infrastructure reconstructions, design build, Rail-yards, Racetracks, and Amazon Warehouses so large that you measure their distance not in feet, but in tenths of miles.
